But this time, Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday supported the 'Bharat Bandh' called by various labor organizations and accused the Narendra Modi government of weakening the public sector companies (PSUs). He said that I salute the workers who called the bandh.

Reacting to the matter, Rahul tweeted, "Anti-Modi, anti-labor policies of the Modi-Shah government have created horrendous unemployment and weakening public sector companies to sell them to Modi's capitalist friends can be justified. Today 25 crore workers have called Bharat bandh in protest against this.

Against the policies of the Modi government, 10 trade unions have called for a nationwide strike on Wednesday as Bharat Bandh. They claim that 25 crore people will be involved in Bharat Bandh. Due to this, rail service has been affected in various places of the country including West Bengal and Odisha. The ten trade unions that have called the bandh include the Center of Trade Unions, Indian National Trade Union Congress, and others. They have called for a strike with a 12-point demand. However, the trade union Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh is not participating in this strike.
