Varanasi: Former Congress national president Rahul Gandhi on Friday reached Varanasi, the city of Baba Vishwanath. Rahul along with his sister Priyanka Gandhi walked about a km to reach the Kashi Vishwanath temple. After offering prayers, the two left for Phulpur. At the Phulpur rally, Rahul Gandhi took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying, "Now why doesn't the PM talk about employment, jobs, 15 lakh. I will never say that 15 lakh rupees will come to your account. Because I can't lie to you.''

Rahul Gandhi further said that Modi ji says that we are foreigners. Our family is also from Allahabad. I have heard that Modi Ji had fought with crocodiles. But we saw him that when he entered the Ganges, he could not even swim.' The Congress leader further said that Modi says that I protect Hinduism. Modi ji, don't lie. You lie and support lies not for the sake of farmer, labourer but to save your chair. Rahul Gandhi said that unemployment and inflation are big problems. A holiday animal is a gift of Modi ji.
