New Delhi: India is fighting against the second and most dangerous wave of corona. Meanwhile, former Congress National President Rahul Gandhi on Friday requested PM Narendra Modi to scientifically detect all forms of corona virus and make the world aware of it and vaccinate all Indian citizens at the earliest.

He also wrote to PM Modi alleging that due to the "Failure of the government" the country is once again on the verge of a national lockdown and immediate financial assistance should be given to the poor so that they do not have to go through the same pain as last year. In the letter, Rahul Gandhi wrote, "I am forced to write to you once again because our country is under the grip of corona tsunami. The people of India should be your top priority in such an unexpected crisis. I request you to do whatever is possible to save the people of the country from this suffering".

Rahul Gandhi said, "One out of every six people in the world is an Indian. The epidemic has now shown that our size, genetic diversity and complexity provide a very conducive environment for this virus in India to change its appearance and come out in a more deadly form. I'm afraid the double mutant and triple mutant we're looking at right now may be the beginning".
