New Delhi: Rahul Gandhi resigned as the party president after the embarrassing defeat in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. After that, all the Congress leaders continuously tried to convince Rahul to give him the post of President again. Meanwhile, now the news is coming that Rahul Gandhi has now once again agreed to take over the responsibility of the party.

Currently, in the meeting held at the home of Congress Working President Sonia Gandhi, all the Congress leaders have once again given their support in the name of Rahul Gandhi. This decision was taken in a 5-hour meeting of Congress leaders at Sonia's 10 Jan Path home. Rahul later accepted that whatever responsibility the party would now give. He agrees to take her.

The leaders who forward Rahul Gandhi's name, Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot, veteran Congress leader Digvijay Singh, K.K. Leaders like Gaurav Gogoi including Suresh, Abdul Khalik were present. All these leaders requested Rahul Gandhi to take charge of the party. Rahul has previously refused to do this post, but now he seems to be making up his mind again.
