Jaipur: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has asked former Congress national president Rahul Gandhi to visit Jodhpur in Rajasthan. He has said that Rahul should advise CM Ashok Gehlot not to fall into the politics of appeasement. Violence erupted after a clash between two groups after a large number of Muslims took to the streets after Eid prayers in Jodhpur.

According to media reports, in the conversation, BJP's state in-charge and national general secretary Arun Singh has said that, 'Rahul Gandhi had explained Hindutva and Hindutva in Rajasthan. He and Priyanka Gandhi should come to Rajasthan and see the violent incidents. He should instruct the state government to maintain law and order and not indulge in politics of appeasement. He said, 'I urge Rahul Gandhi to return from Nepal as soon as possible and come to Rajasthan to take stock of the situation and give instructions to take action against the criminals. If the Chief Minister is also involved in this, then action should be taken against him too.

Along with this, appealing for peace in the state, he has held the Rajasthan government responsible for the violence. Regarding accusing the BJP, he said, 'We have heard such allegations before. Akhilesh Yadav had also said this in Uttar Pradesh, where there were continuous riots before 2017. The Rajasthan government is also doing the same thing. Should the CM resort to leveling allegations to hide his failures?
