New Delhi: Amid the agitation by farmers, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has once again targeted the Modi government. Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has targeted the reforms of the Modi government after the statement of NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant. He said that it is difficult to make big reforms in India because there is too much democracy here. After Amitabh Kant's statement, Rahul Gandhi said that reform in Modi government equals theft. That is why these people want freedom from democracy.

While addressing an event on Tuesday, Amitabh Kant had said, 'It is very difficult to make big and hard reforms in Indian perspective because there is too much democracy here. You need political intent for this kind of reform, very much improvement in mining, cuckoo, labour, agriculture.' Recently farmers are agitating against three new agricultural laws made by the Central government and these farmers are demanding to withdraw the new laws while the government is firm on its decision.

The Central Government has come up with three new agricultural laws, in which several provisions have been made, including procurement outside government mandis, approving contract farming and ending the stock limit of many grains and pulses. The farmers are not happy with this new law and they are not even accepting it. Farmers are demanding the withdrawal of these laws because of this, for the last 14 days, farmers are staging a strike on the Indus border connecting Delhi and Haryana.
