New Delhi: Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has targeted Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. Rahul Gandhi wrote in a tweet "Indian economy is ruined due to three big reasons, demonetisation, flawed GST and failed lockdown. Also, whatever is being said is a lie".

This reaction of Rahul Gandhi came after that statement of Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. In which she has called the Corona pandemic challenge in front of the economy an Act of God. Nirmala Sitharaman while addressing a meeting in the past said that the coronavirus has severely affected the GST collection. The country's economy is facing an extraordinary 'Act of God' in the form of coronavirus, due to which the growth rate of the economy may decline this year. The finance minister was also trolled after this statement.

On the other hand, not only the opposition but also the Rajya Sabha MP of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Subramanian Swamy, has also criticized her. Swamy tweeted that he came to know that Corona is an 'Act Of God'. He will soon release a video in this regard. Subsequently, Swamy also released the video, in which Nirmala Sitharaman is describing the corona pandemic as 'Act of God'.
