New Delhi: Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has attacked the Modi government on the Facebook controversy. MP from Wayanad Lok Sabha seat of Kerala, Rahul Gandhi said that we will never allow harm to the democracy found through hard work with fake news, hate speech, and favoritism. Earlier, Rahul attacked the BJP and the Sangh citing the report of the Wall Street General. He wrote in tweeting, 'BJP and RSS have control over Facebook and WhatsApp in India. They work through it to spread fake news and hate. They use it to influence voters.' Priyanka Gandhi wrote in a Facebook post on Sunday that BJP leaders are using Facebook to spread misinformation and hate. Rahul Gandhi alleged that the BJP also colluded with the officials of Facebook so that social media would be occupied.

Priyanka Gandhi has shared a report on BJP leader for not taking action on a provocative post from Facebook. In her post, she wrote, 'after most media channels of India, now it is the turn of social media. The BJP used to use all kinds of tactics to spread hatred and propaganda and is still doing so.'
