New Delhi: After the Congress-favorable judgment in the 2G spectrum allocation scam case in which all accused were find not guilty, an essential Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting today will be chaired by newly president Rahul Gandhi. This will be first meeting after being selected as the uncontested party president.

As per reports of Sources that said the party's chief decision-making body meeting, was arranged on a short notice because of the judgment delivered in the 2G scam case in favor of Congress. This case publicizes as one of the major splice cases in the nation.

Special CBI judge O P Saini on Thursday found not guilty former telecom minister A Raja and DMK leader Kanimozhi, together with other accused in the case, stating that there was nonappearance of proceeds of crime and that the prosecution had been unsuccessful to establish that there was any scam.

Now the party is likely to arrange its approach to counter the NDA government on the charges in opposition to the UPA leaders in links with the case.

Congress is going to make official awareness campaign and take the 2G subject to the people, sources reported to PTI.

The party is also likely to discuss the current political situation, including the ramifications of the Congress's strong performance in the Gujarat Assembly polls for the party in future, PTI reported.
