New Delhi: The second wave of corona virus continues to wreak havoc in India. More than 3 lakh new corona cases have been reported in a day for the past several days and more than 3,000 deaths are being reported daily. In this regard, the Central Government has launched vaccination drive for all persons above the age of 18 years with regard to 11th May, 2021.
On the third phase of vaccination drive, former Congress National President and Lok Sabha MP Rahul Gandhi has advocated free corona vaccine for the countrymen. More than 45 years of age are being vaccinated free of cost by the Crand Government in the country. But the Government of Crend has left it to the States to decide whether to give the vaccine free of cost or take money to those between the ages of 18 and 45 years. Several states including UP, MP, Jharkhand, Assam, Delhi have announced free vaccine.
Former Congress National President Rahul Gandhi has attacked the Narendra Modi government at the Centre for advocating free corona vaccine. Rahul Gandhi tweeted on Thursday that "India should get free Covid-19 vaccine. All citizens will have to get free immunization. Hopefully, this time it will happen.''
