New Delhi: As the weather is heating up in the country, coronavirus infection cases are rising at a rapid rate.  Most of the new corona cases are coming up these days are from states like Maharashtra. Meanwhile, former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has expressed concern over the growing corona cases. He also tweeted on Monday appealing to people to take all precautions to prevent corona infections.

In a tweet on the rising cases of coronavirus infection, former Congress National President Rahul Gandhi said, "I had already warned that the Covid-19 posed a major threat. Please follow all security measures. Wear a mask and take all the necessary precautions", Rahul Gandhi also shared a graph in his tweet. It shows data on the status of coronavirus infection cases in the country since January. According to data released by the Health Ministry on Monday morning, 26,291 new cases of corona infection have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours.

In data released by the ministry, 17,455 people have recovered from corona in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, 118 people have lost their lives. The total corona cases in the country have now increased to over 1.13 crore.
