According to reports, Sunday morning saw the suicide death of television actress Vaishali Takkar. Her father discovered her body in the room where she shared a home with her brother and father in Indore. According to Madhya Pradesh's Home Minister, Narottam Mishra, a case of aiding suicide has been filed against a couple living in Vaishali's neighbourhood. Vaishali left behind a suicide note.

According to a PTI report, Vaishali Takkar was discovered by the police hanging from her room's ceiling with her stole. The Indian Penal Code Section 306 (abetment of suicide) case against her neighbour Rahul Navlani and his wife Disha in the matter has been registered, and further investigation is underway, the Home Minister said in a Monday media address in Bhopal.

In addition, Vaishali blamed Rahul for harassing her in a five-page suicide note that was discovered at the scene of her death, according to the Assistant Commissioner of Police Moti-ur-Rehman, who spoke to this news agency. The Assistant Commissioner added that the actor's family members claimed Rahul Navlani had been bothering Vaishali ever since he discovered her engagement plans. The accused couple locked their house and haven't been found there, according to police in Indore.

The fathers of Vaishali Takkar and Rahul Navlani reportedly know each other very well and are business partners. The Assistant Commissioner also mentioned that a case for aiding and abetting a suicide attempt has been filed against the couple.
