MANCHESTER: Lokesh Rahul, who started the innings, scored six out of 10 points for his performance against Pakistan, saying his performance would only improve after a patient half-century with the arch-rival team. Shikhar Dhawan was out of the team due to injury and Rahul got a chance to start the innings with Rohit Sharma. It was Rahul's first match against Pakistan.

Rahul made 57 runs in 78 balls and shared 136 for the first wicket with Rohit. "Shikhar and Rohit have become very dangerous pairs in the last three or four years.
