In his statement, Sinha said on Monday, 'Most of the people sitting in Shaheen Bagh and Park Circus are infiltrators from Bangladesh and Pakistan. They are protesting using children and women as shields. Recent videos have shown that they want to divide India and break Assam. Can people living in the country ever speak of dividing this country?

Regarding this matter, the BJP National Secretary further said, 'Today I also ask the leaders who went to Shaheen Bagh, did you go there to support those elements who talk about breaking the nation?' Sinha also targeted Lake Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for passing the anti-CAA resolution in the West Bengal Assembly. He said, 'Mamata Banerjee's government is formed under the Constitution, she took an oath on it before forming the government. Today, by passing an anti-CAA resolution, they have broken that oath and brought the Constitution into disrepute. An Act passed by the Center cannot be challenged.'
