New Delhi: After the successful operation of Lucknow-Delhi Tejas Express, the Tejas train is going to start between Ahmedabad-Mumbai from today i.e. January 17. Preparations have been completed for the launch of the Tejas train at Ahmedabad railway station. Tejas train will leave for Mumbai from platform number 1 of Ahmedabad railway station. Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal and Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani will flag the train.

This corporate train will run between Ahmedabad-Mumbai and there will also be train hostesses to serve the passengers. The booking for this train had already started. Travelers can especially book their tickets on the IRCTC website www.irctc.co.in and its mobile app "Irctc Rail Connect". However, booking of this train will not be done at railway reservation counters. Travelers can also book tickets for this train through IRCTC authorized agents.

Train tickets can also be booked through IRCTC's online travel portal partners such as Paytm, Ixigo, PhonePe, Make My Trip, Google, IBibo, RailYatri etc. In this way, it will be another important step of the Ministry of Railways in improving the overall travel experience of railway passengers by providing state-of-the-art facilities in trains.
