Railway Recruitment Cell, RRC has invited applications for recruitment to the posts of Apprentices in Eastern Railway. Applications for the posts can be made from April 11, 2022, by visiting the rrcer.com, the official portal of RRCCR. It is worth noting that every year, the railways provide employment opportunities to the candidates through internships. This year also, 2792 apprentices have been issued vacancies. Candidates pursuing the ITI course with 8th, and 10th pass will be given year-round training by railways. The selected candidates will also get a stipend. After completing the training period, the candidates will also be given 20 per cent reservation in the upcoming Group D recruitment of the Railways. In the existing RRB Group D recruitment also apprentice trainee candidates are being exempted from the physical efficiency test. At present, 2792 posts include 659 posts of Howrah Division, 612 of Lilua Division, 297 of Sealdah Division, 187 of Kanchrapara Division, 138 of Malda Division, 412 of Asansol Division and 667 of Jamalpur Division.

Educational Qualification:-
Candidates holding an ITI certificate in the respective trades with a 10th pass can apply for the posts. For all others, click on the link below to check the notification.

Age Limit:-
The age limit for the posts has been fixed at 15 to 24 years.
