Tomorrow, January 3, PM Narendra Modi inaugurates three major rail projects of Madhya Pradesh online. All three projects belong to Bhopal Railway Division. It is going to benefit the public and the railway passengers a lot. These include the 48 km long Bhopal-Barkheda third rail line, the electrification of the 222 km Gwalior-Guna railroad and the 1.7 MW solar power plant built at Bina. All three projects are ready.
Bhopal Railway Division Senior DCM Vijay Prakash said, that PM Modi will inaugurate the major railway project completed on January 3. The list of five major projects was sent to the Railway Board by the Western Central Railway Jabalpur Zone. Three of these projects are from Bhopal Railway Division. According to Vijay Prakash, these projects will give new momentum to the railways in the state. The electricity generated from the solar power plant will make the trains operational. After electrification of the track, now electric trains will run instead of diesel.
This will not only increase the speed of trains, but will also provide relief from pollution. At the same time, due to the running of trains on the third rail line, passengers will be able to reach the stations from one to the other soon. Meanwhile, the demand for renaming Habibganj Railway station as 'Atal Junction' in the name of Atal Bihari Vajpayee has intensified. The state government has taken cognizance of the old proposal.
