Mumbai: Rain has wreaked havoc in Maharashtra these days. The MET department has predicted heavy rain in the north and eastern India recently. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has recently said that heavy rain may occur at these places. This is bad news for Maharashtra which is currently facing rain and floods. In fact, it has been warned of heavy rains for the next three days. Similarly, cyclones are prevailing in many parts of Madhya Pradesh. Let us also tell all of you that another cyclone is being formed over the Bay of North Bengal.

The impact is expected to create a low-pressure area in the North Bay of Bengal as well as in its vicinity. In fact, due to these two cyclones, heavy rain is expected in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Uttar Pradesh by 29th July. At the same time, its intensity will gradually decrease. Let us also tell all of you that heavy rains have been predicted in the ghat areas of Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra for the next three days. Heavy rain has been predicted in these areas on July 29.

You all know that many districts of Maharashtra have received heavy rainfall for a few days and that is why rivers of Raigad, Ratnagiri, Thane, Satara, Kolhapur, Pune, and Sangli districts were flooded. Several districts were submerged in the floods and in view of this, rescue teams of NDRF state in Maharashtra are engaged in relief and rescue operations.
