New Delhi: The month of August is ending today and today is the last day of this month. This month the country's capital has received the lowest rainfall in the last 14 days. Delhi's primary weather station Safdarjung Observatory has predicted a minimum temperature of 25.9 degrees Celsius and a maximum temperature of around 35 degrees Celsius here. However, the sky will remain cloudy in the national capital Delhi for the next 5-6 days, however, there is no chance of much rain.
According to meteorologists, there has been less rainfall this month. This is because three low-pressure areas have formed over the North West Bay of Bengal, which carried the Monsoon towards Central India, due to which the Monsoon was not allowed to remain towards North India for a long time. The Indian Meteorological Department has said that Monsoon will remain soft towards North India for the next five days.
According to the data available on the IMD website, the capital recorded 214.5 mm of rain in the month of August last year. The rainfall was 237 mm in the year 2020 and 119.6 mm in the year 2019. Normally August receives 247 mm of rain. But, now this month so far 41.6 mm of rain has been recorded. This year, the month of August has received the least rainfall.
