Lucknow, Temprature decrease in Uttar Pradesh due to light to heavy rain and thunderstorms at few places. Nazibabad and Moradabad received 9 cm each, Saharanpur and Safipur received 7 cm each.

Nagina and Bansgaon registered 6 cm rainfall with Chandradeepghat, Kannauj, Malihabad, Bhinga, Aonla, Bijnore recording 4 cm each.

MeT department officials said, that Bahraich, Barabanki, Gonda recorded 3 cm rainfall each.

Temperatures were below normal in Moradabad and Bareilly divisions, appreciably below normal in Agra division, below normal in Kanpur, Lucknow, Jhansi and Meerut divisions and appreciably above normal in Varanasi division.

According to MeT department, rain and thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places over the state.
