Heavy rains continue to wet Southern India. Rains are deluging several states across the country especially Southern India. Maximum levels of flood danger were announced in at least two places. Many people are struggling with this problem. A surface periodicity of 5.8 km to 7.6 km has recently been formed in the vicinity of the northeastern Bay of Bengal. A low-pressure area is likely to get formed in the northern Bay of Bengal on Wednesday morning. The Hyderabad Meteorological Department has forecast that it will strengthen further and head west in the next 24 hours.
