Businessman Raj Kundra, who is the husband of Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, was taken into custody by the Mumbai Crime Branch late on Monday night. Raj Kundra has been accused of making movies. Raj Kundra was arrested around 11 o'clock, after which he was kept in the Mumbai Crime Branch. Raj Kundra has been produced before the court in the case today. Raj has reached the court and now the court will decide how many days to send Raj Kundra to custody or grant him bail.

After raj Kundra's arrest, he stayed in the Mumbai Crime Branch for about four hours. Raj Kundra was then evacuated from the crime branch and taken to JJ Hospital in Mumbai where he underwent medical treatment at around 3 pm. After undergoing medical treatment at JJ Hospital, the crime branch team took Raj Kundra to the Office of the Mumbai Police Commissioner at 4.30 pm. Raj Kundra is already in the Office of the Mumbai Police Commissioner.

After the arrest of Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra, his legal team also went to work. Raj Kundra's legal team also reached the crime branch office late at night. It will be the endeavor of Kundra's legal team to seek bail terming Raj Kundra's arrest as unfair. For the time being, it remains to be seen what the court decides in this case. If the same secret offender is found, the first mistake in terms of the seriousness of the crime can be punishable with imprisonment up to five years or a fine of up to Rs. 10 lakh, but if a second mistake is committed, the jail term can be increased to 7years.
