Rajasthan: A big news has come from Rajasthan. Actually, teachers here are going to get the benefit of the seventh pay commission soon. According to the information, Technical Education Minister Dr. Subhash Garg has given a statement during the question hour regarding the seventh pay commission in the Vidhan Sabha. He stated in his statement that, 'Service rules of technical educational institutions will be amended soon.'

He said that "This will allow teachers to receive pension and salary according to the seventh pay commission." During this question hour, Dr. Garg answered the questions asked by the MLAs. Meanwhile, he said that the personnel and finance departments are constantly working to amend the rules. He says that there is no consensus on two or three issues, due to which the matter is being delayed. Apart from this, he also said, 'Retired personnel will also be given the benefit of the seventh pay commission. Arrears will also be paid as per rules.'

Further, Dr. Garg while answering the MLA Subhash Poonia said, 'The benefits of seventh pay commission is being given to Rajasthan Technical University Kota, Bikaner Technical University and Engineering Colleges. Whereas arrears in self-financing engineering colleges will be paid only on the basis of the financial position of the Society and Board of Managers. Announcements have also been made in the budget to help these colleges.' Apart from all these, the Minister also said that 'Polytechnic colleges have academic personnel working in many posts in engineering and non-engineering service rules. The Department is working to bring them in the seventh pay commission.' According to the seventh pay commission, the process of giving salary and pension to the personnel is going on.
