Jaipur: A case of rape of a young woman studying engineering in Rajasthan's capital Jaipur has come to light. She had gone to her home in Ajmer on February 9. Finding her alone in the house, a young man forcibly entered inside and showed a pistol and raped her. The victim has lodged a case against a youth named Vijay at Chitrakoot police station in Jaipur on Wednesday.  

The 21-year-old victim said in the complaint that she is a resident of Tonk. At present, she is studying engineering in Jaipur. The accused also made obscene pictures and videos of the victim. He threatened to kill her if she told anything about the incident and make the photos and videos viral on the internet. Due to the threat, the victim did not tell anyone about the incident at that time and had come to Jaipur. Even after returning to Jaipur, the accused tortured the victim by constantly calling her. The accused started pressurising the victim to come to Vijaynagar in Ajmer. The victim refused to go to Vijayanagar.

The accused threatened to pick up the victim and her younger sister from Jaipur, rape them and spoil their faces by pouring acid. The panicked victim reached Chitrakoot police station late on Wednesday night and lodged a rape case against Vijay Singh. The rape took place in Vijayanagar. In such a situation, the police have cut the zero number FIR and sent it to the Ajmer district SP office for investigation. The case is currently under investigation.
