Jaipur: An incident of shaming humanity has been reported from the Bundi district of Rajasthan. A Kaliyugi father has been accused of raping his 15-year-old daughter for nearly two years in the Kaparen police station area of the district here. A case has been registered on Thursday against the accused father in the case which has strained the sacred relationship between father-daughter. It is being told that the class 8 student had told about this to an Anganwadi worker in her neighbourhood in the morning, who reported the matter to the circle officer (CO).
CO Shankar Lal has informed that a case has been registered against the 45-year-old father at the Kaparen police station under sections of the IPC and the Pocso Act. He said the statement of the minor is yet to be made. According to the CO, the victim has alleged that her father had been sexually exploiting her and raping her for nearly two years. After her mother's death, she lived in the same house with her father and grandmother. The CO said that the girl's mother died when she was just 12 months old.
According to media reports, CO Shankar Lal has said that the accused father has not been arrested at present as the minor's statement under Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code could not be recorded. He said the victim would be sent to the shelter home after her statement is recorded and a medical test is conducted.
