Jaipur: A shocking case of murder has come to light from Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. The case is from the Khandar area. Here the husband attacked his wife with a sharp axe and killed her just because he suspected that his wife was having an illicit relationship with another man. He then reached the police station and surrendered.

According to the report, 33-year-old Ashok Sahu works as a laborer. He had a fight with his wife Sulochana (30) late on Sunday night. In fact, Ashok suspected that his wife had an illicit relationship with another man. After the argument, Sulochana went to sleep in the room. But Ashok's anger did not yet subside. He picked up the axe and stabbed Sulochana, who was sleeping on the bed, to death by stabbing her in the neck. He then reached Khandar police station the next day and surrendered, stating killing his wife, the report said.

The police immediately detained the accused Ashok and sent a team to the spot. From there, Sulochana's body was taken into custody and sent for post-mortem. The police also informed the family of the deceased. The body was handed over to them after post-mortem. At present, the police are interrogating Ashok.
