Jaipur: A case of rape of a minor girl in the Baran district of Rajasthan has come to light. The minor had arrived with her family for exorcism, where the man-made her a victim of her lust. Police have registered a case and arrested the accused from the Jhalawar district on Friday.
Family members say their daughter's health had deteriorated. So they had come to a man in the village for exorcism. The 45-year-old accused sent the family to collect worshipping material and threatened to rape their daughter. When the family returned to Janar (Bhopa's house with the worshipping material), the girl was found in a suspicious state. Who then narrated the whole incident to the family.
The family then rushed to the police station to complain about the case and registered a rape case against the accused. But by then the accused had fled from the spot. The police conducted a medical test on the girl and recorded the statements in court. A search was launched for the accused and he was arrested by the police from Jhalawar district on Friday evening. Police say a case has been registered against the accused under the POCSO Act.
