Jaipur: The theft of donkeys has increased the concern of the police in Hanumangarh district of Rajasthan. So far 76 donkeys have been stolen from here, after which now the owners of those donkeys have started protesting there, which has increased the trouble of the police. Now Rajasthan Police is roaming from village to village in search of donkeys. The case is of Nohar located in Hanumangarh, Rajasthan. After the donkey was stolen, the donkey owners gheraoed the Khuiyan police station. After this, the top police officers have formed a special team, which is searching the donkeys from village to village and street to street.

ASI Ramchandra Meena said that we have searched a large number of suspicious donkeys and have also caught some. But the owners of the stolen donkeys Mehr Chand, Raju Gar and Dilip Gar said that the donkeys caught do not belong to them. In view of the protest of the donkey owners, the police has also made a statement in the village that everyone should take their donkeys in the shed. People have been warned not to leave donkeys in the open. At present, the owners of donkeys along with the police are also engaged in finding their donkeys. Donkey owners say that they treat their donkeys like children. They have named their donkeys Chintu, Mintu, Pintu. As soon as they gave voice to their donkeys, they used to come near and start shaking their ears after hearing the name.

The owners of donkeys say that donkeys are being stolen in this area for a long time, but the police is not paying attention. It was told that the value of more than 70 donkeys that have been stolen is being told about Rs 14 lakh. Donkeys, sheep and goats are part of their livelihood for the people of the area. Police station in-charge Vijender Sharma said that four constables have been engaged in search of donkeys, but no success has been achieved so far.
