Baran: The cremation ceremony of the deceased Bholaram Vishwakarma was held after 24 hours due to non-arrangement of cremation ghat in village Chathya village under Kishanpura Gram Panchayat in Atru Panchayat Samiti area of Baran district of Rajasthan. The villagers say that people are facing severe hardship due to lack of cremation ghats in the village and no way to go to the place where the body is burnt.

The villagers perform the cremation of the dead body at an empty place in the village, but due to lack of tinshed, etc., the body has to be burnt in the open. In such a case, the cremation of the dead bodies is not done when there is rain etc. On the other hand, there is no way to get to the place of burning of dead bodies and they have to pass through mud and water.

The body was cremated after 24 hours as the village's Bholaram Vishwakarma passed away due to rain. Instead of burning the bodies, the villagers arranged for themselves to cremate the body after a lot of problems in the water on the way. However, locals said that there were complaints several times but no action was taken.
