Bikaner: Seven people, who belonged to Sikar, Churu and Jhunjhunu districts, were tragically killed in a road accident in Bikaner district of Rajasthan at around 6 am on Tuesday morning. Apart from the jeep driver, all the other six deceased were relatives. Ten other people were also injured in a collision between a bus and jeep between Deshnok and Palana in Bikaner district. The injured are being treated at PBM Hospital in Bikaner.

3 men and 4 women are among those who died in the accident. The accident was so gruesome that six people died on the spot, while a woman died on the way to the hospital. According to Lakshman, the head constable of PBM police outpost in Bikaner, these people from Shekhawati came to a jeep to set up a lift at Karni Mata temple in Deshnok. An accident took place between Deshnok and Palana. Apart from the people riding in two vehicles, a bike rider Shyamsunder was also caught in the accident.

Among the dead in the Bikaner road accident, Mintu Kanwar wife Indra Singh and Bablu Kanwar wife Satyanarayan of Kakoda village of Surajgarh subdivision of Jhunjhunu district, Karan Singh son Ram Singh, resident of Khatavata village of Ratangarh subdivision of Churu district, Shravan Kumar son Brajlal Sharma, Shravan Singh Son Kisan Singh, Meena Kanwar wife Karani Singh and Shire Kanva of village Bagdota of Fatehpur subdivision of Sikar district Wife Laxman Singh.
