Jaipur: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has retaliated on the statement of Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot's support for Bharat Bandh. State President of Rajasthan BJP unit Satish Poonia said that Rahul Gandhi and his entire family do part time politics and he and Ashok Gehlot have nothing to do with farmers.

Poonia said, "CM Ashok Gehlot has supported the Bharat Bandh December 08. This time India needs to be open, not closed. With open mind, open India, new India in the world But there is a need for cooperation in this matter. "He further said," I think the way in which he has said that Rahul Gandhi is in favor of the farmers and he has prepared the background of the farmers movement, it is baseless. Rahul Gandhi and his entire family do part-time politics, they have nothing to do with farmers, nor does Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot ji.

Punia said in question that when will the debt waiver of the farmers in Rajasthan and if they are genuinely friendly to the farmers, then first take care of the farmers of Rajasthan. He said that "till date they have not been able to answer when the debt waiver of the farmers of Rajasthan will be done? ... I believe that if they are genuinely farmer-friendly, first take care of the farmers of Rajasthan."
