Jaipur: Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot launched the Kisan Crop Loan Distribution Programme on Thursday at Birla Auditorium in Jaipur. In the meantime, Gehlot has said that his government is always standing firmly with the farmers. That is why our Government has done the job of lending to farmers without any interest.

During the programme, CM Ashok Gehlot launched 700 new ATMs, Cooperative Mobile ATM Vans in the cooperative sector. The government's Kisan Crop Loan Scheme will provide loans up to 1.50 lakh to over 25 lakh farmers in the state. Most notably, online loans are being disbursed to farmers for the first time in the country. Though the process of disbursing loans to farmers was started from The International Day of Cooperation, CM Ashok Gehlot duly launched the scheme on Friday.

During the programme, CM Gehlot said that the cooperative institutions of Rajasthan will also be enabled on the lines of Maharashtra so that the farmers of the state themselves are able to do so. He said Rajasthan has moved forward because of the IT revolution. When Rajiv Gandhi was the PM, he used to say that everything would change in the 21st century. Now everyone can get things done through mobile phones. So that even the villagers sitting in the village dhani can easily get their work done.
