The Ashok Gehlot government of Rajasthan has implemented an ordinance in the state regarding the corona epidemic. The ordinance provides for imprisonment of 2 years or fine of Rs 10,000 or both together for violating the rules and guidelines set by the government during the epidemic.

A fine of Rs 100 for those who disobey social distancing, Rs 200 for not wearing a mask, Rs 500 for selling without mask accessories, Rs 500 for smoking in a public place, Rs 200 for spitting gutkha without permission have to give. The Gehlot government has brought this ordinance amid the ongoing corona transition for the last month and a half. It will be passed as a bill in the upcoming session of the assembly.
