Duty of drug inspectors has been imposed for checking allopathy and homeopathic medicine shops. Patanjali stores in the state will also be monitored regularly. Dr. Sharma instructed the officials that other medicines of Divine Pharmacy should also be monitored.

In his statement, he said that according to the Gazette notification issued on 21 April 2020 under the Drugs and Cosmetic Act 1940 and 1945 through the Government of India, Kovid-19 sold any ayurvedic medicine as a pandemic drug without the permission of Union Ministry of AYUSH.
