A shocking, Horrific and Shameful incident come to light from Rajasthan where a 13-year-old girl was raped by several people when she was on her way.  As of now, seven people were arrested in the gang rape case.  A case was registered at Kelwara police station in the Rajsamand area.

According to the information, the victim had gone missing on January 4, 2023, After this, her father filed a missing complaint with the police. After investigating the issue the police learnt that girl was spotted at the Udaipur bus stand. The police located the girl and took her to the Child Welfare Committee where she narrated her ordeal. The minor girl claimed that she boarded a bus from Kelwara to Udaipur where she was sexually assaulted by several people at different places.

As of now, a case has been registered under the POSCO Act and other relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code. The locals are very disappointed with the horrific incident are protesting against it. The authorities are facing flux to increase in sexual assault cases in Rajasthan. Amid these criticism Director General of Police (DGP) Umesh Mishra on January 17 said that 41 percent of rape cases registered in the state are false.

The DGP claimed that Rajasthan doesn't rank first in India in cases of rape, it is Madhya Pradesh that ranks first. He said, "It is noteworthy that out of the total cases of rape registered in our state, 41 percent are found to be false, while at the national level, the percentage of false cases is only 8."
