On the information regarding mixing of allopathic medicine in Ayurvedic medicines, samples of medicines were examined and tested and after confirmation of the information, action has been taken by the team at the Ayurvedic drug manufacturing Company at Gram Mansinghpura near Ajmer Road. The suspicious Ayurvedic medicines manufactured in the factory were tested in the government medicine testing laboratories, which found the diabetes drug metformin hydrochloride.

The investigation team along with drug control officers were also involved with the drug inspector of the Ayurvedic department. Sharma said that the two drugs that were in the treatment of diabetes were found to be allopathic medicine in Dhentari db Care and Pranic db care. According to the label published on these drugs, these Ayurvedic products are exported and metformin was found in potions of 500 mg of medicine from 168 mg to 201 mg.
