Jaipur: A case of two Muslim youths preparing meat-eating food by two Muslim youths on the terrace of a Hindu temple in Udaipur, Rajasthan has come to light. The accused have been identified as Zakir Hussain and Nazim Sheikh. They are accused of throwing the bones inside the temple premises after making and eating meat. In this case, the police have registered an FIR and arrested both of them. The incident took place on Friday (May 6, 2022).

BJP leader Laxmikant Bhardwaj has shared the video of the temple on social media. He has urged CM Ashok Gehlot to look into the matter. In the video, the police force is seen stationed in front of the temple with 'Jai Shri Ram' written on the gate. On the roof of the Hanuman temple, cylinder gas and utensils are seen on the stove. Something looks like non-veg when the pot is opened and shown. According to media reports, "The accused had been living on the roof of the temple for about 15 days. During this time, they were making a lot of non-vegetarian food and eating. The locals had informed councillor Kusum Pawar.''

After arriving with the people, the councillor had thrown the whole stuff on the road. The temple premises were later washed away with water. Regarding the two arrested accused, the locals believe that they are labourers called to build a road from Bihar. The accused had earlier been warned to leave the temple premises, but they did not agree. Even the municipal and smart city officials do not recognize the two accused. The arrested accused has confessed to making meat on the roof.
