New Delhi: Sanju Samson-led Rajasthan Royals (RR) defeated Faf Du Plessis' Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by 7 wickets in Qualifier 2 on Friday night. After this stunning victory, RR has taken an entry into the IPL final after 14 years. In the first season of the IPL, under the captaincy of Shane Warne, the team had earlier reached the final and won the title. After this excellent win of RR, centurion Jos Buttler and captain Sanju Samson looked a bit emotional and both the players talked about Shane Warne after the match.

Jos Buttler, who was the hero of the win against RCB, said, "Shane Warne is a very influential person for Rajasthan Royals and to give the team a success in the first season, we will miss him a lot, but we know that he is looking at us with great pride today.  Sanju Samson recalled the 2008 IPL final and said, "I was very young and it was the first season of the IPL. I remember playing an Under-16 match somewhere in Kerala. There I watched the match with friends, I remember the last run was taken by Sohail Tanvir with Shane Warne. It was a very memorable moment.''

If we talk about the match, RCB batted first and set a target of 158 runs to win against Rajasthan on the basis of Patidar's half-century. This score was achieved by Rajasthan for the loss of three wickets with 11 balls to spare. For Rajasthan, Jos Buttler played an unbeaten knock of 106 off 60 balls with the help of 10 fours and 6 sixes. Rajasthan Royals will now fight the title battle against Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans on May 29.
