Jaipur: Former Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot will meet Congress in-charge of the state Ajay Maken in Delhi on Sunday. This meeting of Sachin Pilot with Ajay Maken is going to take place when the process of consultation on political appointments is going on in Rajasthan in January 2021. This includes the reorganization of the State Congress Committee. With regard to the process of new appointments in the Rajasthan Congress, the Pilot faction hopes that they will find a place in it, which was sidelined after squabbling with the Gehlot faction within the party.

At the moment, this meeting of Sachin Pilot is also considered important because Ajay Maken, who is in charge of Rajasthan Congress, is expected to visit Jaipur next week. During this trip to Jaipur, Ajay Maken's meeting with all the Congress MLAs and discussing the cabinet expansion of the Gehlot government is a strategy.

In fact, there is a Cabinet expansion in Rajasthan and many political appointments. Due to the dispute between Sachin Pilot and Ashok Gehlot, no decision could be taken on these subjects so far. But after the meeting of Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi in Delhi on Saturday, further plans have been set. The same sources said that Sonia Gandhi sat face to face with CM Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot in a meeting held at 10 Janpath on Saturday to end factionalism in Rajasthan Congress.
