Today is the birthday of Rajeev Verma, who is seen in Bollywood to TV. Today, he is celebrating his 71st birthday. He has been working for more than two decades and he has played the role of father in many best films. People still remember his acting. His television career started with Serial Chunauti (1987-88), in which he played the role of college principal. He also starred in the serial Mujrim Hazir (Doordarshan) and he portrayed Babu Sa in Miss Kaushik's Five Bahuyan, a series about a woman looking for her fifth son and the last bride for her youngest son. 

In this, Rajeev Verma played the role of Mrs. Kaushik's husband. Apart from this, he has played the character of Babuji in Pyaar Ho Gaya. Talking about movies, he worked in films like Maine Pyar Kiya (as the father of Salman Khan), Didar, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Yeh Rastein Hai Pyar Ke, Hum Saath Saath Hain, Kachhe Dhaaga, Biwi no. 1, Himmatwala, Jeet, Chalte Chalte. He was liked in all these films and even today he is inhabited by people as an emotional father and Babuji. People still like him a lot. In the year 2019, Rajeev was made a state icon by the office of the Chief Electoral Officer to motivate voters to vote.

After some controversy, they were also asked to remove them. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's union conductor of Madhya Pradesh province, Satish Pimplikar, said, "Rajeev Verma as an artist has been made a state icon by the office of the Chief Electoral Officer to motivate voters to vote. There is no basis to remove Verma, as he is a celebrity in the art field. Even if he is associated with an idea, he has been selected not because of the idea, but because he is a better artist."
