Superstar Rajinikanth-starrer 'Annaatthe' directed by Siva is one of the much awaited films. While the shooting of the film has been wrapped up and the post production if going on in full swing, the makers have revealed the film's release date.

'Anaatthe' is produced by Sun Pictures, and it has many popular faces from the industry. The film has a huge line up of cast which includes Keerthy Suresh, Nayanthara, Meena, Kushbhu, Prakashraj, Sathish, Soori, Goerge Maryan and many others and has music by D Imman. The movie is said to be a rural-based family entertainer.
Though it was unsure if the film will be a Diwali release as announced earlier in January, Sun Pictures have now again confirmed that the film will hit the screens on November 4, 2021 during the Diwali festival. The announcement has come with a stylish poster that shows Rajini's looks upon his people. It is also mentioned in the poster that the first look poster of the film will be released soon.
The production house had earlier announced in January that the film will release on November 4 for Diwali, the release of the film on the said date was in doubt due to the ongoing pandemic situation due to the COVID-19.
