Raghav Lawrence, who directed Hindi cinema actor Akshay Kumar's upcoming film 'Laxmi bomb', has announced his another film 'Chandramukhi 2'. The film is a sequel to the 2005 South Indian film 'Chandramukhi', and features Tamil film superstar Rajinikanth in the lead role. The sequel also stars Rajinikanth, and Raghav will also be seen with him. Raghav has given this information by sharing a post on his social media account. Giving this good news to his fans on social media, he wrote, 'I am sharing the very good news with you all. I have signed my next film 'Chandramukhi 2' with Thalaiva Rajinikanth".

Raghav further wrote in the post, "I am very happy that I am going to start this project with the permission and blessings of Rajinikanth Thalaivar. This film will be directed by P Vasu Sir, while my lucky producer Kalanithi Maran Sir will produce it under the banner of Sun Pictures." Raghav has also received three crore rupees in advance. Right now the country is fighting the coronavirus, so Raghav has donated this money to the coronavirus relief fund. He has given Rs 50 lakhs to the Prime Minister's Cares Fund and has donated Rs 50 lakhs to the Chief Minister Relief Fund of Tamil Nadu. Similarly, he has also donated the rest of the money to the dancers' union, for the differently-abled and daily wage earners.
