'Annaatthe' by Rajinikanth, a famous superstar of the south Indian film industry, will be released in India as well as abroad. The movie will hit more than 1,100 foreign theatres in Deepawali. Sun Pixels claimed that this is the biggest foreign release of a Tamil movie. 'Annaatthe' will be released in 677 theatres in the United States alone, the production house said in a tweet.

The same film will release on 117 screens in UAE. In Malaysia, the movie will be released in 110 theatres, while in neighbouring Singapore, it will be released in 23 theatres. The film will be released on 86 screens in the island nation of Shri Lanka. Family entertainment will be released in 17 theatres in Canada and 35 theatres in the United Kingdom. It will release in 43 theatres in Europe and 85 theatres in Australia and New Zealand.

Apart from Rajinikanth, the film, which also stars Nayanthara, Khushboo, Meena, Keerthy Suresh and Jagpati Babu, has music from Imman and cinematography by Vetri.
