Tamil megastar Rajinikanth’s Thalaivar 167 is making quite buzz since its announcement. The one of the one police officer thanks to a bunch of leaked photos that dropped on the web recently. A report in TOI claimed that the leaked stills from the upcoming film were from a photoshoot that was done yesterday and incidentally the images show the actor wearing cop uniform and looking as dapper as ever.
In the wake of the photo leak, Rajinikanth’s starrer publicist has put out a statement requesting fans not to share the leaked photo and wait until the ‘finished’ photos are released officially.
According to the report of Hindustan Times, the publicist’s statement reads, “I request all the Thalaivar fans not to share the leaked stills and try to preserve it until releases officially .. kindly help us to do in better way to all the fans.”
Earlier, Rajnikanth megastar has played cop in his previous films like Moondru Mugam, Pandian, and Kodi Parakuthu, among others. Just to jog your memory, in the Amitabh Bachchan starrer 1991 Hindi action-thriller titled Hum, Rajinikanth played Big B’s younger brother and a cop in the film. Thalaivar 167 also stars Tamil actress Nayanthara in a supporting role while rumours are abuzz that the main antagonist in the film will be a Bollywood superstar.
