Amritsar: Punjab government spokesman and MLA Dr. Rajkumar Vera has made a statement regarding Mukhtar Ansari being given special treatment at Ropar jail in Punjab and not handed over to Uttar Pradesh police due to health reasons.  He has said that in the case of Mukhtar Ansari, the action is being taken as per law and as per the prescribed rules, Mukhtar Ansari was brought from UP to Ropar jail in Punjab.

Vera further said that the Uttar Pradesh police now wants to take them, but the petition is pending in the apex court in the case and as per law, Mukhtar Ansari will be handed over to the UP police, and a reply will also be filed in the Supreme Court on behalf of the Punjab government. Raj Kumar Vera said that these things are coming out that Mukhtar Ansari's family has also come to Punjab or is starting his business in Punjab, he has no information in this regard, but if there is no case registered with the family of Mukhtar Ansari, he can easily come to Punjab and do his job. can.

The prince further said that in the case of Mukhtar Ansari, the Punjab government is not protecting him at all and the government has no say in the matter. If the apex court orders that Mukhtar Ansari be handed over to the Uttar Pradesh police, the Punjab government will do so immediately, and if he is prohibited from handing over to up police at the medical ground, it has been done on behalf of the medical team.
