The Defense Expo showed to the whole world that the new India has not only become strong, prosperous and capable in the field of defense but is ready to move forward step by step with the powers of the world. The day is not far when our country will become a major center of the world in the field of defense construction. Rajnath was addressing the closing session of Defense Expo 2020 on Saturday, 8 February 2020. The Defense Minister said that India's stature has increased under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. It has left a deep impression in the world. This expo has proved to be a milestone in terms of Indian defense production. It has broken every record of public participation, PPP and international coordination.

Will be remembered for Lucknow Declaration ': Rajnath said that this Defense Expo will always be remembered for the 'Lucknow Declaration'. For the first time, there was a conclave of Defense Ministers of India-Africa. Defense ministers from 40 countries participated in it. In view of the importance of our relations with these countries, many decisions were taken which will be remembered in the name of the Lucknow Declaration. It is also being said that it will take steps like coordination, information exchange, sharing of intelligence information and protection of mutual interests to deal with the growing threats from terrorism. Lucknow has gained global recognition with this event.
