Rajnath Singh hails Woman biker Mitsu Chavda  who is amidst 'Ride for Soldiers' solo mission

New Delhi [India], Jan 17 (NT): Mitsu Chavda, a young brave heart women biker on her unaccompanied pan-India 'Ride for soldiers' mission met Home Minister Rajnath Singh at his dwelling on Tuesday.

 Now Mitsu is in the midst of her quest, intends to visit to more than 102 cities spread across 17,000 kilometers. She is the 23-year old rider from Surat who started her national ride on November 26, 2017, to create attentiveness for paraplegic (paralysis of the lower half of the body) soldiers, drawing motivation from two of her soldier friends who were mortally injured on the battleground.

talking about her voyage so far, Mitsu claimed that the government has made India protected for women bike riders, and asserted that she was lucky to get support everywhere she went'.

Capturing the moment, the Home Minister hails the efforts of the young biker on his Twitter handle as saying.

"Met Ms. Mitsu Chavda who is on a bike journey of 102 cities across India. Her mission is to spread awareness among the people about the difficulties faced by paraplegic soldiers. I laud her efforts and wish success for her mission," Rajnath tweeted.

Till now, Mitsu has traveled a distance of 11,000 kilometers. (NT)
