NEW DELHI: Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has blamed the Congress on Tuesday for the ongoing political crisis in Karnataka. Describing the issue as an "internal matter" of the Congress, he said it is being disrupted in Parliament, which is not correct. Reacting to Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary's remarks in the Lok Sabha on the developments in Karnataka, Rajnath said the congress MPs' statement cannot be justified in any way.

Deputy Leader of the House Rajnath Singh has said that the Congress has raised the issue on Monday and is once again misusing the opportunity given to it by raising the issue. He said, "What is happening in the Karnataka Congress is an internal matter of the party. He has failed to solve his problem by himself and is trying to disrupt the proceedings of the Lok Sabha.

Earlier, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury had blamed the Centre for the developments in Karnataka, following the response of Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. The Congress had given notice for adjournment motion on the issue, which was rejected by Speaker Om Birla.
