The big statement of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday has come out in which he said that the current position on the Line of Actual Control in Eastern Ladakh is going to be discussed with the Head of Defense Department, Bipin Rawat and the three army chiefs. It is being told that India's complete safety is going to be discussed in detail in the meeting.

It should be noted that in the discussion with the Border Road Organization, Rajnath Singh was assured that the road construction work on the LAC will be terminated in every situation. The Border Roads Organization is continuously laying the road network on the LAC. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh is going to discuss in detail with the Chief of BRO and other senior officials in South Block. A meeting is to be held on the ongoing projects on LAC and LOC. Presently BRO has worked to construct 3 new bridges in Leh, with the help of which the Indian Army is able to easily take the tanks closer to LAC.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has been made available by the Chief of BRO, Lt. Gen. Harpal Singh, information on the road development projects on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) with China and the Border with Pakistan (LoC). The Chief of BRO assured the Defense Minister that the Border Road Organization would finish the ongoing projects on LAC and LOC in time. It will leave no stone unturned to finish this project soon.
