Bijnor: On one side the farmers are engaged in besieging the government against the agricultural law, on the other hand, the leaders of the opposition parties are pressurizing the government to withdraw the agricultural law. Priyanka Vadra, National General Secretary of the Congress Party, has visited Uttar Pradesh for the second time and is addressing the farmers present in the panchayats.

However, Rakesh Tikait, national spokesperson of BKU, on joining Priyanka Vadra's panchayats said, "If she is going to the panchayat, then who can we stop, everyone should do the panchayat. If Priyanka only sitting in Delhi then must go around the village." But the farmers had already refused for political intervention in the Mahapanchayats? In response to this question, Tikait said, "We are not holding a mahapanchayat a little. They must be holding their panchayat, our union does not. What mahapanchayat is happening, are they not farmers?'' Tikait said, "If someone is going and taking the name of the panchayat, then there is little restriction on the word panchayat, everyone should do the panchayat."

Priyanka Gandhi is on UP tour for the second time within a week. Earlier, on 10 February, Priyanka Vadra addressed the Kisan Mahapanchayat at Chilkana in Saharanpur and now she has reached Bijnor in Uttar Pradesh. Actually, the farmers have been protesting against the three new agricultural laws since November 26 last year on various borders in the national capital.
